I had the great pleasure of being interviewed this week on Extinction Radio Episode 65, 8th Feb 2017. Besides my Part One segment, which starts at 56:10 (about 34:45 long), it also features Deb Ozarko, Kevin Hester, and Hambone Littletail.
It feels good to be back on the air with EXR and I look forward to regular contributions for upcoming shows. On this show, Jennifer Hynes and I deep dive into our feelings about all things extinction and how it feels to share our journey publicly. We also discussed a Grief Ceremony I attended in Ashland, OR (Francis Weller) and we had a playful chat about the movie Ground Hogs Day, and how it ties into our perspective of time. Enjoy.
Early last year I helped to start a monthly “Daring to Discuss” group in Chico, CA. The discussion group gives folks a chance to sit in circle and share their feelings about the challenging topics of the day.

This past week, a local Chico radio host came to the meeting and enjoyed it so much that he wanted to interview me for his Peace and Justice show on KZFR. We cover a lot of ground in a short time, discussing the three general camps regarding climate change:
- 1. I think it is a hoax or I’m just not interested.
- 2. There is still time to correct things but we need to take massive action now and
- 3. It is too late to fix it, and we are in planetary hospice. I will also share this, as soon as the link is available. This comes out next week, Friday the 17th. Whoa!

This month I am also honored to be connecting with Deb Ozarko. Last May she burst onto the scene with a blog entitled “Letting Go of a World in Collapse: The Conversation We’re Too Afraid to Have.”
I feel a deep connection with her and we seem to bring out the best in each other. I will share that interview, likely next week.

However, to wet your appetite for now, here is the Dec 9, 2016 show where I interviewed her on Sequitur. It is titled Freedom from hope (about 54:00 long). Please stay tuned, more interviews and a big announcement coming soon.
