Welcome to Peter Melton.com — Infinite Love, cleverly disguised.
Wow what an amazing couple of weeks. Gave a talk at Earth Day in San Francisco, then I returned to the Bay area to take part in climate talk at the Sierra Club with Guy McPherson and Jamen Shively of Radish.org and I produced and moderated an amazing panel discussion on our Climate Crisis and Human transformation with Guy McPherson, Sean Kelly, Jamen Shively and Peter Russell at the New Living Expo in San Mateo, CA.
I also got to participate in a group meeting in Berkeley to discuss our feelings as we experience the consciousness shift and the great unraveling at the same time.
I will post videos on these public events as they become available.
In the meantime I did a couple of interviews for extension radio this week, and check them out Extinction Radio Episode 71, 5th May 2017. This starts with Deb Ozarko, Jennifer Hynes and Peter Melton in Conversation at Part One, at 1:10, and goes to 1:05:12, or about 55 minutes long.
This is followed by Interview – Sean Kelly and me, in Part Two, at 4:57 and goes to 48:48 or about 44 minutes long.
Rick Siegenthaler more than earns his reputation, as Jennifer Hynes so aptly says, for ‘real genius’, for his efforts. In this case, a lengthy video of the discussion I had with Sean Kelly of The California Institute of Integral Studies thankfully rendered by Rick, here. Sean’s CV is here also.

I am excited to say that things are really heating up, pardon the pun, for several events in April in the SF Bay Area of California.
Dr. Guy McPherson is being hosted by the Bay Area Sierra Club for a dinner and talk on April 27 and we are putting together several other events around that time.
(As you will see in the McPherson blog, ‘The Final Reality Show: Human Extinction‘. More news on all those events coming soon.
Guy, me, and a couple of fans in Hayward 2015
Wow, it has now been about 3.5 years since I first connected with the work of Dr. McPherson and this will be the 5th time that I have been involved with bringing him out to the West Coast for speaking engagements. It is an honor to play my part in helping to alert my fellow humans to our shared predicament. Below, is a clip from the post from Guy, which includes the invite to the Sierra Club event if you are interested in attending.
As Guy shares, at his Nature Bats Last website:
‘I commonly recommend the pursuits of love and excellence. For some, a collective effort to raise human consciousness is just what the doctor ordered. If that is you, please go to the Radish.org website to get involved.

I very much enjoy the opportunity to sit in circle with people who are daring to discuss the predicament we have created. Big thanks to Guy McPherson for all the research and daring communication.
Woosh, good times
I had a great visit with a special friend in Ashland Oregon, then gave my talk at Sustainability Conference on Thursday that went great. 30 folks, 10 adults and 20 students participated.
45 minutes of me going shining the light I call Peter. Unfortunately, it was not recorded.
Hng around the conference, heard some other talks, reminisce about my college days, 30 years prior.
Also had a sweet easter weekend with my fam and little 6 year old.
Got to do a counseling session with the 35 yr old gal I am coaching, hoping to reconnect for a movie coaching session tonight, with the movie, City of Angels. You know the one, with Nick Cage and Meg Ryan.
While this is ostensibly about my first engagement with Carolyn Baker, I do feel that it quite well captures my approach. This is about going into the depth of feeling on a topic.
What role does grief play? Using feeling to assist us in living. Die in a way which enlivens your life. Stands of gratitude and asking, where is the joy in my life. The entire Podcast:
Of course, those with less time, can go direct to my segment, here at the 1:27:37 mark. About 6:45 long.
